Survey commissioned by the Commonwealth Fund with support from the Federal Ministry of Health.
March 12, 2015, Düsseldorf
In 2015, as in previous years, the Commonwealth Fund, a renowned, non-profit American healthcare foundation, is conducting a survey in 11 industrialized nations to compare patients' and physicians' experiences with their healthcare systems.
This year, general practitioners, pediatricians and family practice internists will be contacted to compare the provision of outpatient care for patients, as well as the professional situation of these groups of physicians, with those of other countries.
Partners in the project are the BQS Institute, Düsseldorf, the German Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) and the Institute for Health Economics at the University of Cologne. The BMG is providing financial support for the German part of the survey.
This survey was already conducted in 2009 and 2012, so it is now possible to compare how their professional situation and outpatient care has changed in recent years. Approximately 3000 general practitioners, pediatricians, and internists practicing family medicine will be contacted. All responses will be evaluated anonymously.
Participants will receive a voucher worth 20 euros as compensation for their efforts.
We hope for a high participation rate.
